This blog begins as my wife, Karli, and I come to terms with the recent diagnosis of anaplastic large cell lymphoma in our 8 month old son, Oliver. My intent is to keep our friends, family and interested parties informed, and to hopefully help Karli and I to process this unwelcome intrusion into the life of our beautiful little boy.
It's a fabulous start! Brought a huge smile to my day. Thanks for the cancer info too and may the breastfeeding continue! All is well with us though I am recovering from 4 days or food poisoning which ended up in a morning's self admission on Tues to hosp. emergency department. Bub is 12 weeks and fine though - coping much better than me at the moment! Love E (& J)
What a wonderful start my little giggly boy and great news about the breastfeeding Karls. I wish that I was a fairy grandmother who could wave a magic wand to eliminate the pain and anxiety and then fast forward to the time when Olly is no longer having yukky chemo! I am so proud of you both for your strength, equanimity and complete devotion to my beautiful grandson. Love, hugs and positive thoughts for an homecoming soon. Nanna Noel

It's sooooo great to see Olly enjoying 'playtime'! Giggles are just the best! Sean's playing peek-a-boo as I write! xox Big hugs to you all
